Description
Where a hose meets the second stage it is bent every time the regulator moves, and over time that pinching can pull a rubber hose out of its metal crimp. This hose protector sits between the second stage and the hose to take the strain. A self-draining vented design allows the hose and protector to rinse and dry properly after a dive rather than holding salt water against the fitting. The maker recommends it for rubber hoses.
