This Sea & Sea gear fits the focus ring of the Nikon AF Nikkor ED 14mm f/2.8D and connects it to the housing's focus control, so focus can be set by hand and left there. That helps inside a wreck lit only by torches, in green water over a kelp bed, and on a reef scene where the autofocus keeps jumping to a passing fish instead of the coral. It is built from corrosion resistant aluminium alloy. The gear is made for this lens in a compatible port on a Sea & Sea MDX housing, turned by the housing's focus dial or, where the port combination calls for it, an extension ring with a focus knob. The lens, port and any ring are sold separately, and the Sea & Sea system chart settles the combination. It suits a Nikon shooter using this 14mm lens in a Sea & Sea housing.
