The Cressi Solid is a straightforward BCD designed to meet the demands of dive schools and rental operators.
Built to handle multiple dives a day, it features a 500-denier Cordura exterior and 420-denier nylon interior for exceptional durability in harsh environments like chlorine pools.
The lightweight backplate with an integrated carry handle makes it easy to lift a fully assembled rig. Adjustable shoulder straps with 50mm buckles ensure a snug fit and the chest strap includes an emergency whistle for added safety. The independent waist strap is unaffected by air cell inflation, ensuring the wearer doesn’t feel constricted.
For stability underwater, the Solid uses a rubber cylinder grip and valve strap to secure the tank, with an option to add a second strap for extra security. Two zippered pockets provide ample storage, while dedicated octopus and console pockets keep gear organised and visible for instructors and dive guides.
A brightly coloured pad protects against abrasion caused by the first stage rubbing against an inflated air cell and improves visibility, making it easy for instructors to spot divers in busy conditions. Size markings on the right shoulder strap simplify stock management.
With a high size-to-lift ratio, the Solid is an ideal BCD for cold-water operators and an excellent choice for new divers.

Is the scuba gear you sell covered by a warranty?
Yes, all the scuba gear we sell is covered by the manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period varies depending on the brand and product. If you experience a warranty issue, please contact our customer support team with your order number, details of the issue and any supporting photos or videos. We will then guide you through the warranty claim process.
What is your return and exchange policy if something doesn't fit?

What are your shipping costs and delivery times within South Africa?
We offer straightforward shipping within South Africa. For all orders under R1000, a flat rate of R150 will be applied. The good news is that shipping is free for all orders of R1000 or more! For major cities, we aim for delivery within 2-3 business days after your order has been processed and shipped. Please note that outlying areas may take slightly longer.
