Description

Dive centres replace BCDs on a schedule, and the jacket that survives longest is not the most advanced one but the simplest one to service and to hand to a stranger. The Wave sits in that part of the Aqua Lung range: a straightforward jacket-style BCD, made to be adjusted quickly onto a diver whose size nobody knew ten minutes earlier, and to keep working through a season of shared use and shared rinse tanks. Aqua Lung's 2025 Buyer's Guide lists it as a jacket-style BCD with no integrated weight system, made in sizes 3XS to XL. That answers a training centre, a club fleet, and a diver buying a first BCD on a budget. It suits a centre or a diver who wants a simple jacket BCD.
