CB-in-Line Boot

Description

Adding a depth gauge to a console usually means buying a whole new console, and this small part is what avoids that. The CB-in-line boot is the housing that lets an SM-16 depth gauge or a compatible module sit in line behind an existing pressure gauge, so a two-instrument console becomes a three-instrument one for the price of the module alone. It also covers the case where a boot has perished and split, which happens long before the brass module inside it wears out. It is sold on its own, without a module, so a module already owned goes straight in. Club and rental operations tend to buy these in twos and threes, because the boot is the part that cracks first. It suits a diver extending or repairing a Suunto Combo Console.
