Description
A Hyflex blade is held to its foot pocket by small screws, and losing one on a boat deck can end a fin's day before the dive starts. The Tusa Hyflex attachment kit replaces that hardware with a 3 mm hex key, four screws and four O-rings, the parts used to fix a Hyflex blade to its foot pocket. It is the kit to have when fitting new blades to an existing pair of pockets, or when screws have corroded or gone missing after a season of salt water. On a liveaboard where a replacement is days away, it earns a place in the save-a-dive kit. Tusa notes that nuts are not included. Keep the hex key with the fins so blades can be tightened or swapped wherever the dive trip goes. It suits a Hyflex fin owner changing blades or carrying spares.
