Snorkels with a valve at the top that closes under water, from Cressi, Tusa, Aqualung and Fourth Element, including the Cressi Minidry, Itaca Ultra Dry and Seal Dry Junior. The valve shuts when a wave washes over, so beginners take in less water while they get used to breathing through a tube.
