Faber Black Cylinder Net for 15L

Description

A 15 litre is the cylinder most likely to be dragged rather than carried, which is precisely why a net earns its place on this size more than on a smaller one. It pulls over the body and grips, putting mesh between the paint and everything the cylinder meets on the way to the water. The damage in normal use is abrasion, not corrosion: rack to rack, cylinder to cylinder, and against a ladder coming out. The weave lets water through so the cylinder dries between dives, where a solid cover would trap salt water against the steel and cause the corrosion the net was meant to prevent. Keeping the paint intact is what keeps surface rust off the steel beneath it. It fits over the body rather than the boot, so both can be used together, and a universal net covering 6 to 18 litre cylinders is also stocked. Rinse it with the cylinder and pull it off once a season. It suits an owner of a 15 litre cylinder.
