Description
Floaty feet are common among divers who use light plastic fins, thick neoprene boots or a dry suit, and they leave the diver tilted head down instead of horizontal. These soft ankle straps add a small amount of weight at the ankle to bring the feet down, so the body stays streamlined and level in the water. They are soft and comfortable, made with computerised quad stitching, and supplied as a pair. The weight is fixed and cannot be adjusted. They come as 500 g or 1 kg units, and the 1 kg units have stainless sliders. Dry suit divers often use ankle weights to prevent inversion. Choose the weight by testing trim in the water, and start with the lighter option if unsure.
