SCUBAPRO Hydros Pro Knife Mount & Accessory Plate

Description

When a line catches, a hand goes across the chest, and a blade already there is reached in that same movement; a calf-mounted knife costs a bend and a search first. This plate fixes a BCD knife to the Multi-Mount Matrix points moulded into a Hydros Pro harness, putting the blade within reach of either hand. The kit is the mounting plate, washers and two stainless steel screws, with a carabiner and thigh strap included. It bolts through the Matrix points and takes a SCUBAPRO BCD knife on its standard sheath fittings; once the knife moves elsewhere, the same plate serves as a general mount for a torch or a marker buoy. Stainless fixings resist salt water, and removing the plate later leaves the harness intact because nothing is cut, drilled or sewn to fit it. Note it does not fit the Hydros Pro 2, which uses the Monorail system, nor the Hydros Core. The knife is a separate purchase. It suits a Hydros Pro owner wanting a chest-mounted cutting tool.
