IST Splash Guard Snorkel

Description

A mouthful of chop is the quickest way to end a snorkel early, and the IST Splash Guard Snorkel tops its tube with a guard that sheds most of the splash before it gets in. Whatever water does find its way down collects at the purge valve at the bottom and clears with a short, sharp breath. The silicone mouthpiece swivels through 360 degrees, so it lines up with the mouth however the snorkel sits on the mask strap. IST makes the main tube from an environmentally friendlier PU material. On a reef snorkel in a light breeze the guard and purge keep breathing easy, and on a scuba dive the snorkel stays clipped to the mask for the surface swim. The bright red, neon yellow, turquoise and blue versions are easy to spot at the surface, and black matches any kit.
