Description

A line arrow points to the exit, and in an overhead environment that is the single most important piece of information a diver can leave behind. Placing them correctly is a trained skill, because an arrow put on the wrong way is worse than no arrow at all. On a cave dive they mark the route out at every point where a diver arriving in silt might otherwise guess. On a wreck penetration they resolve which of two similar passages leads back. On the exit itself they are read by touch as much as by sight when visibility has gone. The pack holds five, in orange or white, with highly reflective stickers included so a torch catches them at distance. It suits a cave or wreck diver trained in line marking, and cookies mark presence where an arrow would mislead.
