Mares Dual 15X + Magellan HD Set

Description

A first regulator should be light to carry and easy to breathe, and this set puts the Mares Dual 15X on the Mares Magellan HD. The whole regulator weighs 919 g in DIN, and its ultralight technopolymer Dual second stage uses Vortex Assisted Design and a curved bypass for natural breathing at any depth. The 15X balanced diaphragm first stage has a sandblasted finish, pre-oriented ports and a DFC port, and the large purge button works in thick gloves. The Magellan HD keeps its 180 N of lift behind the diver, splits lead between removable Standard System weight pockets and trim pockets, and comes in black or blue. No octopus is included, so an alternate air source has to be added before the rig is dived. That covers a photographer who wants a flat, stable platform on a budget, a drift diver carrying an SMB, and a diver leaving rental jackets behind. It suits a diver who wants back-inflation trim with an easy regulator.
