Description

The most advanced Mares regulator is only half a rig until an octopus, a gauge and an inflator hose are added, and this Planet 88X TBP set brings them together in one bag. The primary is the Planet 88X TBP, whose Airmatic Technology makes it the first second stage without traditional springs, paired with the sealed 88X TBP first stage with an overpressure valve. The backup is the Octopus Dual, an ultralight technopolymer second stage with a yellow front and Superflex hose. On a cold-water dive, the all-metal Planet and TBP Dry Kit are built for extremely cold conditions. On a boat trip, the MR-1 gauge and low pressure inflator hose mean the regulator goes straight onto the BCD. It suits a diver who wants Airmatic breathing and a complete rig in a single purchase for a DIN valve.
