SCUBAPRO MK17 EVO2 / S620Ti + R105 Octo

Description

Titanium takes salt water without corroding, which is worth paying for on a part that stays wet between dives. The S620Ti is built on a full titanium barrel, fitting the large diaphragm of the S600 inside a smaller reinforced technopolymer case, and that large diaphragm reads a small breath, so the valve cracks early near the surface when a diver is barely pulling on it. Little weight hangs on the jaw, which tells after an hour. In front of it sits the sealed MK17 EVO 2, a balanced diaphragm in forged chrome-plated marine-grade brass at 797 grams in INT 232, with four high-flow low pressure ports, two high pressure ports at 15 degrees and 9.2 to 9.8 bar intermediate pressure. The R105 octopus runs on a metre of high-visibility yellow hose with a reversible attachment for either shoulder. It suits a wreck or harbour diver who wants a light second stage on a sealed first stage.
