Mares XR Sidemount Stage Bungees (Pair)

Description

A sidemount cylinder that hangs away from the body adds drag and pulls the diver off balance, so the neck of each cylinder needs to be kept close. These Mares XR stage bungees are two independent 52 cm elastic bands, fixed to the backplate or the shoulder straps, with a snap hook on each free end. The band stretches around the cylinder neck and the hook clips to a chest D-ring, pulling the valve tight against the diver. They work with any valve, so there is no need for matched right and left hand cylinders. That covers a diver setting up sidemount for the first time, a cave diver who wants the cylinders flush in a restriction, and a diver carrying a stage cylinder on a backmount rig. They suit a diver who wants cylinders sitting close and trimmed.
