Apeks MTX-RC with MTX-RC Octopus

Description

Buying a regulator and an octopus separately usually means two different breathes on the same rig, and a diver donating in an emergency hands over the one they know least. This pack is one MTX-RC regulator and one MTX-RC octopus, so both second stages behave identically. On a cold water dive the sealed first stage and unfreezable end cap keep both stages free flowing where an unsealed unit ices. On an out of gas drill the receiving diver gets the same adjustable breathe the donor was using, not a stripped down backup. On a deep dive the over balanced first stage raises intermediate pressure faster than ambient so neither stage starves. The rotating turret lets the long hose and the octopus leave the first stage at the angles the configuration needs. It suits a cold water or technical diver building a complete single cylinder rig in one purchase, and both stages carry the same controls.
