Two vertical weight pockets on the harness hold up to 2.7 kg (6 lb) each, one of them doubling as a utility pocket, so ballast sits on the rig rather than around the hips. The cummerbund wraps the waist for a secure fit when kitting up on a rocking boat. The donut wing gives 27 lb (about 12.5 kg) of lift, lets gas travel freely around the cylinder and has stabilising bars to stop it rolling, which keeps trim steady on a slow reef drift. Both pieces pack flat for travel, and the backpack takes an optional slide-in backplate for extra ballast or a later move to double cylinders.
