Shearwater Peregrine Console Lug Screws

Description

A console comes apart at the lug screws, and a screw that has been cross threaded or dropped over the side of a boat stops the whole assembly going back together. They cost almost nothing and they are the reason a console sits on a shelf. The male and female halves are sold separately, so a diver replaces only the one that is damaged. On a service where the SPG or compass is swapped, fresh screws seat properly instead of being forced into worn threads. On a boat deck a dropped screw is gone and a spare in the kit box finishes the job. In a dive centre a small stock keeps rental consoles in the water. They suit anyone stripping or rebuilding a Peregrine console, and it is worth checking which half is needed before ordering.
