Apeks Pressure Gauge & Compass

Description

Most console compasses force the diver to twist a wrist into an unnatural angle to sight along them. This one has two viewing windows, so it can be set up for a left handed or a right handed diver and read at the natural extension of the arm. On a navigation leg that means a heading held without breaking trim. On a poor visibility dive the luminous dial stays readable when the water goes green. On a cold water dive the ratchet bezel turns cleanly in thick neoprene gloves, which is where most bezels defeat a diver. The pressure gauge reads to 360 bar in a nickel plated brass case with an anti-splinter window and an over pressure capsule behind the face. It is supplied in pewter with a boot and a high pressure hose. It suits a diver who navigates and wants both instruments in one compact unit.
