Description
The tank carrier is a strap handle that makes a scuba cylinder easier to carry. It uses two durable straps that go around the cylinder, with a plastic carry handle fitted between them, so the weight is held in the hand rather than by the valve or the neck. The straps are adjustable, which allows the carrier to fit a variety of cylinder sizes, from smaller aluminium cylinders to larger steel ones. Anti-slip pads on the inside of the straps stop the carrier from sliding down the cylinder as it is lifted. It is a simple and inexpensive accessory for divers who walk a long way from the car to the water, or who load and unload cylinders on a boat. The carrier also carries a dive flag patch on the strap. The maker does not publish the strap length or a maximum load.
