Description

A rig assembled from five separate purchases is five chances to buy something that does not match, which is why dive schools and first-time buyers order complete sets. This one covers everything but the cylinder: the Solid BCD, an AC2 first stage, a compact second stage, a compact octopus and a compact pressure gauge. The AC2 is a straightforward unbalanced piston first stage, easy to service and dependable through high-frequency recreational diving, with a self-lubricating jacketed cylinder and a sintered cup filter, and the whole regulator pack is built around lightness, easy maintenance and affordable running rather than headline performance. The Solid BCD is 500-denier Cordura over 420-denier nylon, with an integrated backplate carry handle, a whistle on the chest strap and a waist strap independent of the air cell. Seven sizes run from 2XS to 2XL, with a DIN connection. It suits a dive school, a rental fleet or a diver buying a first complete rig.
