SCUBAPRO D-Ring Pre-Bent 5x50mm

Description

A flat ring pressed against a shoulder strap has to be lifted before a snap goes in, and that takes the second hand, which on a technical dive is usually holding something else. Bending the ring so it stands away from the webbing removes that step, and on a shore entry through surf one-handed clipping is the difference between keeping a stage and losing it. This is the 5 by 50 mm pre-bent ring in marine-grade stainless steel, the standard bar and width for a technical harness and a match for the 50 mm webbing running through an S-TEK backplate. Marine-grade stainless takes salt water and the load of a stage cylinder or a canister light. It is sold singly, so a rig taking rings on both shoulders and the waist needs several. The ring threads onto 50 mm webbing and is positioned by harness hardware, which is not included, and it does not fit the 25 mm webbing used on stage kits. It suits a technical diver setting up shoulder attachment points.
