The OrcaTorch D910V is a 5000 lumen underwater video light with a 120 degree beam at a colour rendering index of 92, which is what stops reef colour going flat and grey on camera. Colour temperature is 5700K, close enough to daylight that footage needs little correction.

Three levels give 5000 lumens for 50 minutes, 2000 for 2 hours 10 and 500 for 8 hours 50. The 12.6 volt pack carries 38 watt-hours across three 18650 cells and charges magnetically in 2 hours 30. The A6061-T6 body is Type III hard anodised behind coated toughened glass, rated to 150 metres and to a 1 metre drop, measures 129.5 by 45 by 53 millimetres and weighs 430 grams, dropping to 215 grams in water. A titanium alloy switch runs all three modes and carries a safe lock and a charge indicator.

The result is even light across a wide frame with colour a camera can work with. The 120 degree spread also suits commercial work, because it fits most full-face mask brackets and lights a cave passage rather than a single point in it.

Supplied with the pack, a home charger, a ball joint, a rubber ring, spare O-rings and the magnetic charging cable. The B90 spare pack fits, as does the M03 ball joint and the H620 Goodman handle.
