Apeks EVX200 Tungsten 1st Stage DIN 300B

Description

Technical rigs grow one cylinder at a time, and each one needs a first stage rather than a whole regulator. This is the EVX Tungsten head on its own, in the PVD finish. The Auto Closure Device seals the inlet whenever it comes off a cylinder, which matters more on a stage bottle that is fitted and removed constantly than on a back gas regulator that stays put. On a decompression cylinder it feeds a dedicated second stage. On a twinset build a second head completes a manifolded pair. On an expedition it is the spare that keeps the diving going. Seven ports, five medium and two high pressure, are positioned to keep hoses off snag points, and the unfreezable end cap handles cold water. It suits a technical diver extending an EVX rig, and it is supplied without a second stage or hoses.
