Description

Boat ladders, tank valves and reef walls are hard on a watch lens, so every Fenix 9 ships with sapphire crystal over its AMOLED touchscreen and a titanium bezel around it. The dive mode covers single-gas scuba on air or nitrox up to 40% oxygen and apnea, both to 40 m, with Bühlmann ZHL-16c decompression, gradient factors and a 3-axis dive compass for holding a heading across sand. A diver who does a refresher and a handful of reef dives a year gets a computer on the wrist without buying a second device. A freediver logs depth and time on each breath-hold. Away from the water it handles training, sleep and navigation with preloaded maps, an LED torch, 64 GB of storage and up to 29 days of battery on the 51 mm. Dive alarms are vibration only, and there is no air integration or gas switching. It suits a recreational diver who wants a premium everyday watch that logs the dives as well.
