SCUBAPRO Go Sport Gorilla

Description

Strong legs in a current, a search pattern on a public safety dive or a diver towing a casualty put far more load through a fin than reef cruising ever does, and a blade that folds under that load throws the effort away. This is the stiff-blade answer, moulded in a higher-grade Monprene and fitted with a heavy-duty bungee that micro-adjusts around different boot thicknesses. Everything else follows the GO Sport, so what a diver feels is stiffness and strap tension rather than a change of shape. The blade carries a 25 degree pre-angle and a Central Power Panel adding longitudinal rigidity while channelling water down the blade, with Power Bars under the rails holding the angle of attack where it was set. The open heel boot-fit pocket is Ergo3. Black heel grips and black skegs are fitted and buoyancy is positive. Lighter divers will find it hard work. Two colourways run XS to XL. It suits a strong diver who out-kicks a softer blade.
