Description

Gas feeds on a rebreather run through tight spaces around the counterlungs and head, and a stiff hose fights every routing choice; the Hydpro Bright Tek LP Rebreather Hose is braided, light and flexible enough to follow the path the builder intends. This 120 cm hose is supplied oxygen cleaned and assembled under Hydpro's controlled oxygen-service process, ready for the oxygen side of a rebreather once the rest of that system is clean too. Both ends carry 3/8 inch UNF male fittings in nickel and chrome-plated brass, the configuration Hydpro lists for rebreather layouts. Inside, the maker's patented Fiber Shield seals the aramid reinforcement in polyurethane, keeping water and residue out of the braid and cutting the odour that older braided hoses pick up. The monofilament polyamide outer braid resists abrasion and kinks when the unit is packed into a crate. Black and white versions make oxygen and diluent feeds easy to tell apart. It suits a rebreather diver building or refreshing hose routing.
