OMS Stage Rigging Kit

Description

A stage or decompression cylinder has to hang flat along the body and come off cleanly at a gas switch, and the rigging decides both. The OMS Stage Rigging Kit sets up a cylinder for technical and overhead diving with a braided nylon cord threaded through black rubber hose, giving adjustable clip points for two stainless steel BigGrip bolt snaps. A stainless steel clamp, sheathed in tubular webbing, secures the strap at the base of the cylinder. The extended BigGrip gate opens easily in thick neoprene or dry gloves, a real help at a cold decompression stop. Kits are made for 5.7 L (40 cu ft), 7 L and 11.1 L (80 cu ft) cylinders, so a small oxygen bottle and a larger travel gas can be rigged the same way. On a cave or wreck dive the slim strap keeps the cylinder tucked close to the body. It suits a technical diver rigging stage and decompression cylinders.
