Description

Choosing a recycled product usually means accepting less of something. Here it does not: this was the first scuba fin with a blade moulded from recycled post-consumer plastic waste, and it was built so the performance stands on its own. A classic four-channel blade generates thrust on the upstroke as well as the down, matching the finning styles recreational divers are taught, while stiffening ribs down the length of the blade stop it folding under load and give control in a frog kick or a back kick. The foot pocket is open-heel with an adjustable silicone heel strap that sets in six positions, and the strap is replaceable. Four sizes cover X Small, Small, Regular and X Large in black and grey; aqua and white is the sibling colourway. They take a dive boot such as the Pelagic, Amphibian or Rock Hopper. Fourth Element publish no weight. It suits a recreational diver who wants a recycled blade.
