Description

A strobe that skips the odd frame often traces back to the trigger cable, and single core fibres lose light badly once they have been kinked in a camera bag. The Sea & Sea Fibre-Optic Cable II carries the signal through 613 fine fibres bundled in one strand, so light loss stays low even where it bends round an arm. The bundle also takes knocks and repeated flexing better than a single core. That counts on a boat dive where the rig is handed up a ladder, on a macro session with the strobe pulled in tight to the port, and on a wide angle set-up with both arms fully extended. Three lengths match those rigs: S at 310 mm for a compact tray, M at 453 mm for a mid-length arm, and L at 725 mm for long arms. Connectors are fitted at both ends, and Sea & Sea recommend their own cables where DS-TTL exposure is used. It suits any photographer triggering a strobe optically.
