Apeks XL4 Ocea Octopus

Description

An octopus is the part of a rig most likely to be bought cheaply and least likely to be thought about, which makes it the easiest place to cut the environmental cost of a set without cutting performance. The Ocea octopus uses bio based polymers from non petroleum sources and post consumer recycled waste, built in a solar powered facility. On an out of gas ascent it gives the same breathe as the Ocea primary, because it is the same second stage. On a reef dive it completes a rig that is not made entirely of oil. On a shore entry the venturi lever prevents a free flow at the surface while the diver is walking in. It is supplied with its hose and fits any XL4 or XL4+ first stage. It suits a diver building an Ocea set, and it works equally as a spare primary.
