Big Blue TL4000P EOS Backmount Canister Light

Description

One hundred and twenty hours on the lowest level is not a figure a handheld torch can approach, and it is the reason canister lights exist. Moving the batteries to the harness lets the TL4000P run 4000 lumens for 12 hours, 2000 for 24, 1000 for 48 and 400 for 120, from three XML LEDs through a 10 degree beam at 6500K. It also leaves a small head in the hand: 439 grams and 63 mm across against a canister of 2300 grams that rides on the back. The 1.3 metre cable is what keeps that weight off the wrist through a long dive. This is the EOS backmount configuration, with the canister mounted on the back plate. It is anodised aluminium alloy tested to 150 metres, in black, blue or pink. It suits a cave, wreck or decompression diver whose dives run past what a handheld will do.
