Finger Spool BK 65 ft Orange

Description

There is no ratchet, no handle and no mechanism of any kind. Line pays out under a finger through the centre and winds back the same way, and that absence is the entire argument for a spool over a reel: nothing can jam at the moment a buoy is rising and line is running out. The drum is compact and black, carrying 65 feet of high-visibility orange line with a brass double-ended clip for a BCD D-ring. Sixty-five feet is a working length for putting up a marker from recreational depth, and the orange reads clearly against most underwater backgrounds, which is what makes a laid line findable on the way back. Brass resists corrosion. It doubles as a temporary guideline in a wreck or cavern, or a reference back to a shot. Wind it back under tension, because a loosely wound spool is the one that jams next time. This is not a penetration length. It suits a recreational diver deploying a marker.
