Description

A dive light throws a directed cone, which is exactly wrong when the job is to be seen rather than to see. A globe filter is a frosted dome that fits over the front of the head and spreads that cone into a soft glow visible from almost any angle, so a light left on a shot line, clipped to a boat ladder or hung under a hull marks a position instead of pointing at one. The same diffusion makes the light usable as soft fill on a camera rig, since a diffused source wraps around a subject and drops the hard shadow edge that a bare LED produces. This is the 85 millimetre size, which fits the VL36000P, VL36000PBRC and CB33000P. Other diameters cover the rest of the range. That answers a shot line, a night entry point and soft fill lighting. It suits a diver marking a position with a light.
