Apeks Lifeline Ascend Reel 60m

Description

Thirty metres of line runs out faster than divers expect, because a buoy sent from a deep stop needs the depth plus whatever the current drags. The 60 metre Lifeline Ascend removes that calculation. On a deep technical dive it reaches the surface from a stop where a shorter reel would strip to the spindle. On a drift dive it allows the buoy to sit well downstream while the diver holds a stop. On a decompression stop the high grip rubber handle turns cleanly in thick gloves and the integrated attachment point keeps the buoy stowed with the reel until it is wanted. The stainless attachment point clips to a D-ring or lives in a pocket. Forged and anodised aluminium throughout, made in the UK, with a lifetime warranty excluding the line. It suits a deep or drift diver who has run a 30 metre reel short.
