D560-GL Laser

The OrcaTorch D560-GL is a laser-only tool built for instructors and commercial divers who don't need a white beam in the mix. It delivers a 5mW green laser at 520nm, with a beam distance reaching up to 1,000 metres, ideal for pointing, signalling, or directing attention across a dive site without the glare of a full torch.

Operation runs through a mechanical head rotary switch, chosen specifically for its reliability underwater over a electronic button that could fail under pressure. Power comes from either a single AA battery or a rechargeable 14500 Li-ion battery, giving you flexibility depending on what you've got on hand between dives, with a maximum runtime of up to 5 hours.

Built from high-strength aircraft-grade aluminium with a hard-anodised, seawater-corrosion-resistant finish, the D560-GL is depth-rated to 150 metres. Reverse polarity protection and over-discharge protection are built in, guarding against incorrect battery installation and extending the unit's working life. At under 2 ounces, it's light enough to carry as a dedicated pointer without adding bulk to an already loaded rig.

For dive instructors guiding students through a briefing underwater, or commercial divers who need to flag a hazard without disturbing the site, the D560-GL does one job and does it reliably.
