XDEEP ZEOS 28 Set

XDEEP's recreational single-cylinder system, built on a backplate rather than a jacket. The 28-litre wing suits aluminium cylinders and warm water, where you don't need the lift of the 38 and would rather have the smaller profile.

A wing and plate puts the buoyancy behind you instead of wrapped around your ribs, and that's what changes trim. Divers moving across from a jacket BCD tend to notice it on the first dive, then spend the next few learning to stop over-inflating out of habit.

Standard harness is plain one-piece webbing. Deluxe adds 3D mesh padding at the shoulders and behind the plate. Aluminium or stainless steel plate sets how much lead you carry elsewhere, and the weight pockets are optional and ditchable at 2, 3 or 6 kg a side.

The harness webbing adjusts to fit, so there's no torso size to choose on the Zeos.
