XDEEP Zeos 38 Set

Description

Wings are sized on what has to float at the surface, not on what feels comfortable at depth, and a steel cylinder with a flooded drysuit is a great deal to float. That is the gap the 38 fills, carrying 17 kg against the 13 kg of the Zeos 28. Those extra four kilograms are what cold water kit asks for: a steel twelve in a Cape winter, a drysuit with undersuit, or a diver who is simply heavier in the water than the 28 was drawn for. Everything else follows the 28. Toroidal double shell bladder, Cordura over a nylon inner, standard 11 inch spacing, and one universal harness size with a wide adjustment range. XDEEP recommend it for divers over 170 cm. It suits a diver in steel and a drysuit. Do not take it as the safer default, because a bladder larger than the job traps gas in its corners on ascent and makes a stop harder to hold rather than easier.
