Scubapro in South Africa

Regulators are the deepest part of the Scubapro range in the shop, built on four first stages. The MK2 EVO is an unbalanced piston with few moving parts, so it's simple to service. The MK11 EVO and MK17 EVO 2 are balanced diaphragms. The MK17's sealed dry chamber keeps silt and cold water out of the mechanism. At the top sits the air-balanced MK25 EVO. Second stages run from the R105 to the A700, and most first stages and sets come in DIN 300 or INT 232 at the same price. Every model is in scuba regulators.

The rest of the kit

Scubapro BCDs run from the Level and T-One to the Hydros Pro and the S-TEK backplate systems. Dive computers start at the Aladin and Luna 2.0 and step up to the G2, G3 and Galileo. Seawing Nova 2 fins, Everflex wetsuits and the Exodry drysuit round it off. Anything marked Special Order, the Exodry included, is ordered in for you after purchase.

Why buy Scubapro from a dive centre

Scuba Evolution is an authorised Scubapro dealer and a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre in Glenvista, so masks, fins and suits can be fitted in the shop. Regulators and BCDs come back to the same counter for servicing, which goes to Scubapro's appointed agent. That record carries weight. Scubapro's South African warranty terms give regulators a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner, kept in force by a yearly service at an authorised Scubapro dealer.

Questions we get asked

Where can I buy Scubapro in South Africa?

Scuba Evolution is an authorised Scubapro dealer, selling Scubapro regulators, BCDs, dive computers, fins, masks and suits online and at Shop U44, Glenvista Shopping Centre, Johannesburg. Delivery is fast and tracked anywhere in South Africa, next business day in Gauteng.

Does Scubapro have a lifetime warranty?

On regulators, yes, for the original owner. Scubapro's South African warranty terms give regulators a limited lifetime warranty as long as the regulator is serviced every year by an authorised Scubapro dealer, and give other Scubapro products a two-year guarantee with proof of purchase. For gear bought here, the shop lodges the warranty claim for you.

Where can I get a Scubapro regulator serviced in Johannesburg?

Bring it to the Scuba Evolution shop in Glenvista during trading hours; no appointment is needed. The shop sends it to Scubapro's appointed agent and lets you know when it's ready, usually about two weeks later.
