Beacon Canister Kit

Description

A powerful handheld torch is tiring to grip for a full dive and puts its weight on the wrist, which is why cave, wreck and night divers move the battery to the waist and keep only the light head in the hand. This Tovatec kit makes that conversion for the Tovatec Beacon light. The battery rides in a holster on the belt or harness, a 122 cm rubber-jacketed power cable runs to the light head, and the head sits in a Goodman handle on the back of the hand, leaving the fingers free to grip a line, work a camera or signal a buddy. An adjustable hand and wrist strap in fabric with hook and loop fastening completes it. It works for long night dives on a reef, penetration dives where the hands are needed for the line, and photography where a torch in the palm gets in the way. The kit does not include the Beacon light itself. It suits the owner of a Tovatec Beacon light who wants hands-free use.
